Barnes County Transit
Transportation is available to citizens of all ages, and for
all purposes, on the following days each month:Monday through Friday
8:00 am until 4:45 pm
Saturday & Sunday
9:00 am until 1:45 pm

RURAL TRANSPORTATION
Wednesdays:
2nd & 4th Wednesday:

Thursdays:
Every Thursday:
Transportation to Fargo.
Rides to Fargo now cost $15.00
Fridays:
1st & 3rd Friday:
Kathryn, Nome, Fingal & Oriska.
2nd & 4th Friday:
Litchville & Hastings
RIDES AVAILABLE!!
A bus will be available every day to pick up
passengers to bring them to the Senior Center for lunch.
The cost is .50 for round trip.
The bus will begin picking people up at 11:00 a.m.
and will leave the site between 12:30 & 1:00 p.m.
If you would like to have a ride
to the Senior Center for lunch,
you must call a day in advance
845-4300.
Transportation to Fargo
Transportation to Fargo is available Monday through Friday. The schedule for the “every day” trips is different than the regular Thursday bus. Passengers are asked to schedule appointments between the hours of 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Most days the bus will leave Valley City at 8:00 AM and depart Fargo at 11:00 AM. If there are no medical appointments, the bus will not go. Medical appointments, particularly cancer radiation treatments, will have priority. If you need a lengthy procedure or if you have more than one appointment, you should schedule appointments on Thursday when the bus is in Fargo most of the day. We appreciate your cooperation!
